The Intertwined Loop is a long cowl or infinity scarf worked in the round in two contrasting colors in a fun-to-knit interlaced stitch pattern.  Long enough to wear singled, doubled, or wrapped and tucked, this versatile accessory is built  to suit any wardrobe or weather need.  Like its larger cousin, the Intertwined Wrap, this piece is an exploration in organic pooling. The accent color, provided by the quarter-dyed skein Apricity, closely matches the main color, Adored. This results in subtle horizontal striations that contrast beautifully with the vertical grain of the interlaced stripe pattern.

Yarn​​  1 skein of Adored and 1 skein of Apricity on Barker Wool BFL Fingering or your choice of two contrasting colors. 

I used a quarter-dyed variegated colorway with a tonal companion for this pattern to play with perpendicular lines of color, but two highly contrasting, non-variegated colors would work just as well.  

The resulting stitch definition and drape of this pattern benefits from the structure of a 4-ply yarn like our BFL Fingering.  You could substitute one of the yarns for a single-ply like our Silky Solo (Single ply merino/silk),  or a haloed base like our Zephyr (single ply brushed baby suri alpaca and silk, shown at right in my Interlaced Wrap pattern), to play with texture.  Both Silky Solo and Zephyr will change the drape of the resulting fabric, and I would not recommend substituting both yarns.  Keep Color 1 in a structured 4-ply base.
