Cozy up this December with Mount Lindo, a brand new Advent knit-along especially designed for Christmas 2021.  This generously sized poncho is the perfect layering accessory for cold winter days. The slipped stitch colorwork pattern is easy to memorize and addictive to knit.  The photos in this pattern are intentionally black and white to preserve the surprise when opening your Advent set.   The example was knit in the Feast color story, but any of the three color stories will produce equally beautiful results.

One Barker Wool  Advent collection containing 24 enchanting hand-dyed 20g minis skeins and one full-sized 100g skein in Fern. 

Finished Measurements 
Approx. 80” circumference at bottom ribbing and 22” deep from base of neck to bind-off. 

Size   One size. This poncho is intended to be worn as an accessory, not a garment.
Needles      2 sets of US size 5 (3.75 mm) on 24” cables, or needle size needed to obtain gauge.
                      1 set of US size 5 (3.75 mm) on a 32-40” cable,
                      1 set of US size 4 (3.5 mm) on a 24” cable.
Gauge   26 stitches and 8 rows = 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch.
