Linen Soup is a capacious right triangle shawl knit entirely in lovely linen stitch and finished off with a tidy i-cord bind off. It’s designed to use up every last bit of yardage left over from other projects, so gather up all of your fingering weight remnants and get ready to cast on your own unique creation.
Yarn 300g of fingering weight remnants, divided into three 100g groupings as described in the pattern.
Finished Measurements approximately 80” W x 35” D.
Needles
US size 8 (5 mm) on a 24” cable for the body of the shawl, and
US size 5 (3.75 mm) for the bind off
Gauge26 STS x 32 rows = 4” x 4” in linen stitch
